Check the source values, selected units, sample timing, and formula before relying on arithmetic. Independently verify any result that could affect care. Browser errors, entry errors, rounding, or formula limitations may affect the displayed output. Do not delay obtaining appropriate professional assistance because of a calculator result.

Limits of these tools

Albumin corrections are approximations. FENa has important confounders. Body-weight and lean-mass equations do not directly measure body composition. Each calculator lists additional limitations, but those lists cannot cover every circumstance. No drug dosing or treatment guidance is provided.

Using the website or contacting its operator does not create a doctor–patient or other clinician–patient relationship.
