Ariflone aims to make formula arithmetic transparent and useful for learning. Each calculator identifies its equation, units, worked example, limits, and source references. The site distinguishes mathematical verification from clinical validation.
Sources and interpretation
We prefer original papers, authoritative reports, and relevant modern studies. A historical source explains where a model came from; it does not prove that the model is appropriate for all current uses. When a common convention differs from an original publication, the calculator should state that distinction. Reference intervals are labeled as general information and must not be presented as diagnosis rules.
How formulas are checked
Implementation checks compare known numerical examples, unit conversions, boundary conditions, and invalid inputs. The delivered formula test page makes these arithmetic checks visible. Passing tests establishes agreement with specified examples; it does not establish patient-level accuracy or constitute a clinical endorsement.
Authorship and clinical review
Written by: [AUTHOR NAME]. Credentials: [CREDENTIALS]. Clinical reviewer: [REVIEWER NAME AND CREDENTIALS]. Clinical review date: [DATE]. These are incomplete owner fields, not verified appointments or qualifications. Until a qualified reviewer completes a documented review, the content must remain marked as clinically unreviewed.
Review schedule and corrections
The intended review schedule is at least annually and whenever a material error, relevant guideline change, or important validation study is identified. This is a proposed workflow for the site owner, not a claim that previous reviews occurred. The owner should keep dated review records, note substantial changes, rerun affected tests, and withdraw a tool if a significant unresolved issue could mislead users.
Report an error
Email contact@ariflone.com with the calculator address, anonymized example values, chosen units, observed result, expected result, and source. Do not send patient identifiers. Reports should be checked against the source equation and reproducible arithmetic before a correction is published.
Advertising and independence
No analytics or advertising is active in this version. Future advertisements should be clearly labeled, separated from calculator controls, and prevented from implying clinical endorsement. Formula choices and explanations should be based on evidence rather than advertising arrangements.
